  • Can I revise my comments or result after submitting the interim decision?

    You cannot change your comments or results after submitting the interim decision.

  • How can I invite non-member reviewers?

    By clicking the manuscript for which reviewers need to be invited in [Current Editorial Work > Invite Reviewers] of the Editor menu, move to the page to click the “Journal‘s reviewers” tab. Then, you can select and invite non-member reviewers by completing and uploading the journal own reviewer form provided by the system or entering the information(name, e-mail, etc.) of the reviewer.

  • How do I hand over the editor entitlement to someone else when I have been selected as an editor?

    You can send a request to the EIC to return the assignment by clicking “Decline” button in [Current Editorial Work > Accept/Decline Assignment] of the Editor menu. Once an assignment is accepted, it cannot be rejected from the editor menu, so please contact the EIC.

  • If a reviewer does not response to the invitation, is there any way to do it for him or her?

    Accepting or rejecting an invitations is the sole discretion of the reviewers. ACOMS+ does not provide a proxy for it.

  • Can I cancel the reviewer invitation?

    By clicking the manuscript for which reviewer invitation needs to be canceled in [Current Editorial Work > Invite Reviewers] of the Editor menu, move to the page to click the “Invited reviewers” tab. Then, you can cancel the invitation by clicking the “Cancel invitation” button corresponding to the reviewer concerned.

  • Is it possible to revise reviewer comments and then make the interim decision?

    Comments written by reviewers are delivered to the author as they are. Since editors do not have the right to revise the comments of reviewers, you need to ask the reviewer to review the manuscript again.

    By clicking the manuscript for which re-review needs to be requested in [Current Editorial Work > Invite Reviewers] of the Editor menu, move to the page to click the “Invited reviewers” tab. Then, when you click the “Request review update” button corresponding to the reviewer concerned, the reviewer can re-submit review comments and results.
